<br> to provide a copy of the document
If the person concerned in the case or his legal practitioner requests a copy of the complaint, counter-answer, appeal, petition, evidence submitted by the defendant or the defendant, and the documents attached to the case including the judgment, the court shall provide a copy of such document as soon as possible. Any legal professional can get a copy of the judgment.
(2) Except as stated in sub-section (1), a person interested in the document may disclose his/her interest in a document in any government office or organization and request a copy of the document and submit an application to the relevant office or organization.
(3) According to sub-section (1) or (2), if it is deemed reasonable to request a copy of the application, the concerned government office, organized organization or the applicant himself will make a copy or a copy, five rupees per page and if the government office or organized organization will provide the copy itself. A fee of ten rupees per page will be charged.
(4) When a copy is provided in accordance with sub-section (3), the government office or organized organization or the applicant shall provide the copy to the applicant on the same day after certifying that the copy has been provided as requested and that the copy is a true copy.
(5) Notwithstanding anything written elsewhere in this section, a copy of a document that is to be kept confidential or not to be made public according to the law or a document ordered not to be made public by the court shall not be provided.
